Meet the team

Guy Murray BA  N.M.T  A.R.T. Certified

Guy is the owner and principal of the Clinic. He is a Neuromuscular Therapist and a registered Osteomyologist . Guy is also one of 2 fully Certified Active Release Providers in Scotland. The clinic is also the only FSM clinic in Scotland and only 1 of 3 in the UK. He has trained in DNS to Level B with Professor Pavel Kolar at the rehabilitation clinic University Hospital Motol in Prague in the Czech republic. Guy is also the first (and only) Manual therapist in the UK to be certified in Integrative diagnosis and Manual Adhesion Release. Certified in Kinesiotaping, dry needling, joint manipulation and has begun study with the Jean Pierre Barral Institute and Grey Cooks SFMA & FMA . In the past he studied and worked with internationally reknowned osteopath Leon Chaitow.

His specific area of interest are the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction, especially the treatment of soft tissue, nerves and joints.

Currently studying Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization according to Kolar through the Prague University Hospital Motol Rehabilitation department. Professor Pavel Kolar DrPaed, PHd, PT  is head of the rehabilitation and was physician to the Czech president. He is also chief physician to the Czech Olympic Team and Czech Davis Love Tennis team.

He is certified in a range of specialities all aimed at treating pain arising from tissue and joint dysfunction. These include Active Release Techniques, FSM, Dry needling Trigger point therapy, Kinesio Taping, Muscle Energy Techniques, Positional Release and Manipulation.

Personal interests include Hillwalking, Golf, XC and DH mountainbiking, Snowboarding and he is an IKFF certified Kettlebell Instructor.

Nicola Smith Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist

Nicola is an experienced sports therapist and has worked with Professional and Amateur footballers both individually and teams. Nicola has an HND in Sports Therapy and then studied at Teeside University for a degree in Sports Therapy. She is experienced and fully qualified in sports taping.

Gemma McNulty, a qualified and experienced sports masseuse, with an HND in Sports Therapy.

I work with all kinds of people to help them reduce and relieve pain, and reach their performance goals. To achieve the best results I offer a combination of Sports Massage, Injury Assessment, Swedish Massage and Deep tissue Massage.

Many of my athletic clients also benefit from exercise -based rehabilitation, supported by advice on nutrition, training and exercise.

I currently work  from 9-1, Monday-Friday, but I can also work from centres near to you if required
